Exports jump 27.3% to 668.2 billion FCFA in July

Senegal's exports of goods reached 668.2 billion FCFA in July 2026, against 524.7 billion FCFA in June. Crude oil accounted for 273.4 billion FCFA.

Our read: Crude cargo timing appears to drive much of the monthly swing, so July may overstate the trend; a three-month average could be the better guide.

Sangomar exports 2.94 million barrels in September as LNG slips

In September 2026 Sangomar exported three crude cargoes totalling 2.94 million barrels. GTA shipped two LNG cargoes, 0.33 million cubic metres, against 0.49 million in August (Ministry of Energy monthly figures).

Our read: Sangomar's steady three cargoes a month suggests output has settled near its plateau; GTA's count could swing with maintenance and loading schedules, so one lower month may not signal a trend.
